Yes,we cannot escape the fact that God holds us accountable for our sins. God demands that we pay for our sins. Other religions cannot provide a substitute to bear our sins. He now is happiest when he is living his life in the leading of Lord Jesus Christ and spending time alone with the Lord in repentance and in spirit and truth reading his bible daily.

The bible tells us that before we are saved we are spiritually dead to God. Yet God commands us to seek God, to believe, to repent. However, it is impossible for a spiritually dead person to obey God's command to believe on Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. Yet there are those who begin to believe on Lord Jesus Christ as Lord,God,Savior, who find that they are happiest when they do Lord's will. The evidence is in their life that somehow they had become saved. This can only happen because as God commanded them to repent, to believe, God also entered their life and saved them. Because He saved them they found they have come to believe on Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God.They found that sin had become very unpleasant to them. It is evident God has chosen them to become saved and as they repented of their sins and read their bible,God did apply the Word of God to their lives and they did became saved.
" NO MAN CAN COME TO ME ( LORD JESUS CHRIST ) EXCEPT THE FATHER ( GOD ) WHICH HATH SENT ME DRAW HIM: AND I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY." JOHN 6:44
NO MATTER HOW TERRIBLE YOU HAVE LIVED AND SINNED, IT'S ENTIRELY POSSIBLE THAT BY GOD'S MERCY, YOU TOO HAVE BEEN CHOSEN BY GOD TO BECOME SAVED.
Remember, however that God does everything in His time. therefore, you should patiently wait upon the Lord Jesus Christ, as you continue to learn from the Bible.

What does that make you?
If someone lied to you, what would you call them?
That makes you a liar.
We might not like that word - we like to say we're 'just human', or that we 'stretched the truth'. But the truth is - if we've told a lie, we're a liar.
Have you ever taken anything that did not belong to you?
Even something small?
That makes you a thief.
It sounds harsh, but the - if we've ever stolen anything, we're a thief.
Have you ever looked at another person with lust or desire?
Jesus said, that makes you an adulterer.
Jesus said in Matthew 5 that to look at someone with lust is to have committed adultery with them
Have you ever been angry with another person?
Jesus said, that makes you a murderer.
Jesus said in Matthew 5 that whoever is angry with his brother without cause is guilty of murder.
Have you ever taken God's name in vain?
Have you ever used God's name as a curse word or to express disgust?
The Bible calls this blasphemy.

II Peter 3:9 says that God is "not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."
Imagine you are standing in front of a judge, GUILTY of serious crime. All the evidence has been presented and there is no doubt of your guilt. Your apologies and good works cannot erase your crimes; therefore you must be punished. The fine for your crime is a very large amount, and you have no money.
The judge is about to pass sentence when someone you don't even know rushes in and pays your fine for you! The court accepts the money and declares that you are free to go.
That is exactly what God did for you on the cross 2000 years ago.
Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
Jesus loved you so much that he paid the penalty for your sin, so you wouldn't have to!
God has provided a way of escape.
And that is through Jesus Christ.

I have been told by many people I am an 'old soul'. I have never really understood what they mean and the more i think about it the more confusing it becomes.

Hi, some people r extra sensitive to their surroundings,the people,nature...u have a missionary disposition towards others,which is good.But our goodness, no matter how big,is always short-lived.Sometimes we may start feeling like a saint,but our good works r deceiving us...it's like we feel good while reading reader's digest or chicken soup for the soul,n we may start feeling self-righteous,n it continious but u must seek the truth first. Pls know the as sinners we can't pls God with our good works,which sometimes we unconsciously try to do.Pls call-out to Lord Jesus Christ,in repentance of yr sins,seeking mercy n grace always in spirit n truth.Read yr bible a little daily,keep away from idols.You need to seek first yr salvation from the Lord n then reach-out to others with a deeper understanding for the real need of others n the correct message.U could b a soldier for the Lord, and a true saint in eternal life.

Christians, please help!? How can I convince my mom that it's okay to take joy in certain things in life? It's really come down to the fact that she feels she isn't being a true Christian unless she is constantly serving other people and 100% denying any joy to herself. I know that the apostle Paul says to know Jesus we need to "pick up our crosses" but I don't think she would be a "bad" Christian if she took a breath to enjoy certain things in life. I mean, one of the fruits of the spirit is Joy! She just refuses to allow anything to make her happy for fear she might either be a bad Christian or a poor witness to others.
